• Before adding the stockpot, roast heavy bones.
  • While pot simmers, Add some aromatic chopped vegetables such as celery, onions, and carrots. Add herbs like thyme or parsley to add lots of flavor to your broth. After cooking, strain them out.
  • The broth needs to be seasoned and tasted like anything you cook while it’s cooking.
