Broth vs stock — Which has a Stronger Flavor?

Flavour doesn’t depend on the name. Stock and broth are the same things just older and newer versions of the names.

Let me clear you the difference.

Stock:

It is cooked with marrow-rich bones with a longer period of time. When cooled, it is more gelatinous due to marrow-rich bones.

Broth:

It is made by boiling meat instead of using bones.

The stronger flavor depends on what you are adding in your recipe. If your recipe includes rich flavored ingredients flavor would be different. If your recipe of chicken bone broth includes less flavored ingredients taste would be different.
You can also buy powdered bone broth packets to make bone broth quickly and easily.

Here are some main ingredients of chicken bone broth:

  • Bones
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Black peppercorns
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Bay leaves
  • Whole star anise
  • Apple cider vinegar
